Call for Doctoral Symposium

The AIR 2023 Doctoral Symposium welcomes submissions from doctoral students who are working on topics that are relevant to those covered by the AIR 2023 conference (More details in Call For Papers).

Doctoral symposium papers should describe the problem addressed as part of the PhD work, explain its importance, discuss the shortcomings of existing solutions and give some indication of steps taken towards a solution. There should be enough substance to encourage discussion at the symposium, but the work does not need to be complete.

Students both at early and late stages of their doctoral work are encouraged to submit. Students whose submissions are accepted will have the opportunity to present their work during the symposium. Distinguished scientists from around the world, in both academic and industrial research, will be present to give feedback and advice to the students.

All submissions must be limited to 2 pages of the two-column ACM Conference Proceedings format. These submissions will be made available in a handout during the symposium. There will be special cash awards based on the quality of presentations. Presenters will be required to register for AIR 2023.
